Successfully Selling Drugs Part 2
March 2nd, 2007 by forojuan [^]

To conclude my campaign on how drugs can lead to a successful life, one of my close friends (ok, not as close as I’d like her to be) just recently got into selling drugs for a living. And these are actually legal! She is a Business owner of her own line of Usana health products.

It all started a couple years ago when her father (a good man) was diagnosed with cancer. Before he was diagnosed, he had lost weight for about a month and a half with no clue as to what was wrong with him. Doctors were doing test like crazy, and his family had to literally carry him to the hospital. When they finally realized he had severe liver damage from cancer, a friend came to him with some miracle vitamins. Up until this point his health had failed him so bad that he literally had nothing to lose, so he put some faith in some miracle health pills.

He was gonna start some treatment and the doctors advised him to stop taking his vitamins… so he didn’t. He continued taking them for several months throughout chemo and he even refused to take pain medication. His belief was that he wanted to feel what his body was experiencing. And feel he did. The miracle pills he was taking in no way shape or form helped relieve his pain but they never claimed to do that either.

When he was going to begin stem cell research, he was told that he HAD to stop taking the pills this time for whatever health reasons. This time he did, he couldn’t really sneak them into the facility either, but he had taken them for 6 months prior. When they started to harvest his stem cells (by taking blood) they told him they had never seen a patient harvest so many healthy stem cells. The months and months of taking anti-oxidants and fish oil pills from Usana had significantly impacted his cells.

He went on to recover fully from cancer, and stem cell transplant worked wonders for him. That combined with his faith in God and his loyalty to Usana vitamins helped him recover and become a leading salesperson and spokesperson for their products.

His daughter, Lola, had seen the wonders of these vitamins and wanted to share the potential health benefits to her community. She got into the business and started selling the same products that saved her dad to her college friends.

Usana basically has high grade vitamins manufactured in a science lab. They also sell natural based cosmetics – paraben free, a toxin that comes in most cosmetic products. What makes Usana special is their business method. They use an innovative method of getting people to sell and setting up their own businesses. It’s a little more complicated than I want to get into right now, but its not your typical pyramid scheme. They are actually consistently ranked as one of the top companies to work for from Entrepreneur magazines.February Summary

So Lola has been making some mad dough off the sales of vitamins, health bars, and even naturally based cosmetics. Her business is a good business to get into because the income is residual. If you sell a product like vitamins to someone, and they notice a significant change in their health, they will continue to buy for life. That’s a steady stream of income. That combined with the numerous informational meetings she holds, to educate people on their health-not just what Usana sells, but real health facts-she builds cliental and has successfully signed up several people to cooperate in her money making endeavors. She recently graduated from college and has worked wonders with the business opportunities that Usana has to offer. She found her passion in the product she sells based on her own personal experiences. Her dad being severally ill changed all their lives. She is currently making more money than most recent college graduates!

Moral of the 2 part story

From an entrepreneurs’ point of view, drugs is a good market to get into because you will always have a customer. I wanted to share two completely opposite ways that drugs can help people make money because these are the kinds of things I have seen friends and family involve themselves with. It may be a bit twisted relating the sale of illegal and legal drugs to success, but the reality is what it is.

However, the major difference is from a moral perspective, the legal drugs help save your customer’s lives while the illegal ones actually ruin your customer’s lives. There are many factors you should consider when you follow success… and money in general. Taking the moral high ground can pay off equal to or better if the right energy fuels your drive for success.
