So I did absolutely nothing productive this weekend except go out and get drunk — oh and play Guitar Hero 3! I really needed a break though; last week at work was killer — I was so stressed out. (boo hoo)

On Saturday I went to the city to meet up with some of my homies. I was prepared to throw down about $100 or so on drinks/cover since it was my friend’s birthday (which he tried in vain to keep a secret), but I actually ended up spending only $7. Everytime I turned around I was handed another beer; by beer #8 I realized there was some sort of conspiracy to get me drunk. The band was lame and I was going deaf by the end of the night, but I had a blast.

On Sunday I burned several hours familiarizing myself with the soundtrack of the recently released Guitar Hero 3 (on Xbox and PS3) and I’m not much of a rock aficionado but a few tunes had me hooked. I spent much of Sunday night looking for those same songs to put in my ipod and watching I Love New York 2 while working out in the gym.

So, yeah seems like a typical 20-something, do-nothing (productive) weekend , and to be honest I do feel a little guilty about not writing much or working on any of my business stuff — kind of — haha.

Yes, for once I wasn’t being a crazy workaholic — sanity comes at the price of a few beers and hours of vegging out in front of an Xbox (or Wii).

Anyway how was your weekend? Did you make any money?

There comes a weekend in every mans life that he simply needs a little drunken, video game playing, working out, and I Love New York madness…

Do you have love for New York? :) … I love that show but I have to admit I’m a little more into the train wreck that is Tila Tequila right now ;)

Haha, that show is so addicting, I dunno what it is — I rarely ever watch tv — and the only time I do is when it is on in the gym. Yesterday I watched Taylor Made get punked by Buddha — which just goes to show how brains beats brawn hands down. Buddha was stupid for trying to rough up TM. I’m still waiting to see the episode where Chase comes back! haha!

So anyway you’re right … I need an escape — really I need a two month vacation from everything. would be nice! :-D

But enough about me, How was your weekend?

I heard about that Tila Tequila bisexual girl trying to find true love, either a male or a female. Interesting concept, but the fact that she looks like an alien/bug kind of threw me off. I think most of those hot ppl on that show are just there to be on TV. Haha. I know I would be.

    NEXT!

:) … yeah sometimes I look at her and think she’s cute and then other times well, alien/bug is a good way to put it…

I watched one last night, she kicked a guy off and he went nuts, sent another guy to the hospital and then was beating on the windows yelling “TILA! TILA!” it was funny…

I saw the everyone hates TM one too… I hate to admit it but I’m not trapped at the gym when I watch these shows… I make it a point to see if they are on..haha

Anyway, my weekend was good, it was fast though… yesterday was mandatory football day in our house and the rest of the weekend was shopping for jeans… it was successful, I’m ready for winter!

Everyone needs a weekend of do nothing every once in a while. My wife is in her second year of teaching and had a horrendous week and mine was packed with travel so we have sat around and watched the 3rd season of 24 this weekend.

Both of those shows are absolutely nutso!!! I just watch them to laugh since some of the contestants are so silly.

I had a rough week at the internship too last week….but since I don’t drink I could not deal with it like you did Juan.

I play NeverWinter Nights and Diablo to ease my stress.
