Both sides say some things I agree with.

The guy on the left is right, America is going through this “massive negativity” phase. Everyone enjoys being negative or speaking negative about others.

Now about the issue at hand.

From my personal experience the middle class is shrinking. My family use to be middle class… Not no more. I have since flown out the nest, and with a college degree I myself am considered low income. I am in the field of my major and I graduated from one of the top universities in the country for my major. I use to know more middle class people, and somehow everyone has fallen down.

Yup. The Dow has been breaking records! Does that mean that the economy is doing good? Everything I’ve read talks about a “correction” in the market to come, refering to the many over valued stocks currently on the S&P specifically.

The high cost of real estate is not beneficial for people starting out. There is no equity for us! That only benefits people who were home owners before the boom, and even then, they have to spend all that money just to buy a new damn house! (unless they move to some other part of the country-where you live like you would in a 3rd world country.)

I dunno. I think people disapprove with the president for a lot of reasons. Not JUST the economy. If you’re argument is that the economy is doing good, how has he affected the economy? I just don’t see it.

Besides, he has bigger problems than the economy right now… Did you see the report saying that Pentagon officials undercut the intelligence community in the run-up to the U.S. invasion of Iraq. Its not surprising to hear at this point, but it is still disappointing.
