Millionster is the first “designer” Financial blog with an “edgy”, “hip” and “community” tone focused on developing content, tools and info for money-minded people.

It’s no secret that everyone wants to be rich. The hundreds of blogs and thousands of entries regarding topics about money, business and investing are proof to this end. On any given day hundreds of people are posting their financial statements and updating the world about their financial successes; this is expected of a financial blog. Millionster takes a different approach, however. While we will engage in the occasional stock chart or financial spreadsheet, a large part of what we do is dedicated to helping people develop new ideas and challenge old ones. Whether you’ve just opened your first bank account, or made your first million on stocks and real estate, we want to be part of your journey and we would like you to be a part of our budding community.

1mil - Juan Millón is a young (20 something) entrepreneur known mostly for his creative mind and unyielding curiosity. 1mil is an idealist that “thinks big” and hopes to have a major impact in the lives of others; philosophical, pensive, sarcastic, and witty, but heavily relies on spell check. As a founder and leader of a handful of organizations, his leadership skills lend to his goal of bringing people together. He currently resides in San Francisco.
Foro Juan - Foro Juan Que is a young (20 something) investor known mostly for his ambitious goals and undeterred drive. Foro is a visionary of sorts whose sole ambition in life is to be a millionaire (or possibly famous-whichever comes first). His various attempts at American Idol, singing in band, acting, and self promotion on MySpace have vastly expanded his social network to this end. He owns real estate and is always looking for ways to get ahead. He volunteers for the community in which he was raised. Single. No kids. He currently resides in Chicago.

Is Millionster a Personal Finance Blog ? Back to Top
Strictly speaking, yes. As mentioned previously we do discuss our personal financial situations but by and large our focus is on collecting and sharing information geared towards helping people on their journey to wealth. For this reason we like to distinguish Millionster as a Personal Wealth blog. At the same time, our readers should take caution to make their own judgment on the information we share. Not all ideas are right for all parties, so pick and take the ideas that work for you.
Why Should I Come Back and Read Old Articles Again? Back to Top
Ok, to put it plainly, we aren’t English majors, haha. So we do (rather often) go back and rewrite certain sections of our articles, extend them to include more information, or add new information relating to that article. This applies especially to our Series since they are designed to be permanent fixtures at Millionster. You should come back anyway just to see what we’ve got going on, some of our updates are exclusive to our live site and not included in the feeds.
What is Silverado? Back to Top
Codename Silverado - is version 3 of Millionster.com in Beta mode. Silverado will feature more friendly Web 2.0 type interface, better organization of articles and categories, Pod Casts, new search and sort functionality, article “levels”, community oriented tools, new financial tools, downloads, free stuff, and much more. When is it coming out? The initial beta release is scheduled for April. (This timeline has been moved out to allow for development with the new release of WordPress 2.1)

Hey, Juan — sorry to post it here, but the “contact us” page doesn’t seem to have an input box.
Anyway, just wanted to let you in on something that I found today (that I’m doing a skimming kind of post on) that is right up your alley! It’s called Cambrian House. Heard of it? It’s at www.cambrianhouse.com. There might even be business ideas on there that you could consult on or something. You can also open a business model or just serve one part of the plan. But it looks like it’s going to be big…like Amazon/eBay/Napster, peer-to-peer big. Just thought you’d want a heads-up on a start-up!
Like I said, my post is just a skimmer, but you could probably write many posts on this. See what you think!

My name is Brooks-Huey and I am part of the Literacy Council at Carver Middle School in Orlando, Florida. We are interested in the possibility of having representatives speak to our young men and women on finance.
Carver is one of three Title I schools in the West Learning Community of the Orange County Public Schools District. Title I is a term for those schools with large student populations from low socioeconomic families. The goal of my subcommittee is to make a strong developmental impact on the approximately 822 youths attending Carver.
I found your site while searching for literature on finance. Your writers who wrote “Brown, Young and Poor”, “Ghetto Financing”, “A Step Above the Hustle” and “Love Hurts: The Hidden Cost of Girlfriends” write about finance in related topics for our age group. We would like for your organization to donate time to present at the “Man Step Up, Lady Settle Down” event. The students will be grouped for a small setting.
The event will either be all day or half day on April 10 – 11th, depending on the final number of presenters. We can make arrangements for accommodations and meals for you and those representing your organization on those dates. Transportation may also be provided. If you feel you can assist us with this event, please let me know what steps need to be taken to assure your participation.

I JUST NEED TO SAY THIS IS TRULY A BLESSING FOR THOSE WHO ARE WINNERS. I HAVE HAD MY SHARE OF LET DOWNS FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS I HAD TO GIVE UP MY CAREER OF BEING A CASE MANAGER FOR FOLKS THAT SUFFER FROM MENTAL ILLNESS, POVERTY, AND OTHER LESS FORTUNES OF LIFE, THESE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT ARE FORGOTTON IN OUR BIG WORLD, BUT GOD BLESSED ME WITH THE GIFT OF COMPASSION, MY HEART FEELS THEIR PAIN AND THEIR NEEDS AND I ACT ON IT, THAT IS MY PASSION HELPING THOSE WHO NO ONE ELSE WILL.
