When Life Brings You Limes…and stuff
July 20th, 2007 by 1mil [^]

Hello world!

I feel like I’m starting all over again after a couple months of not posting anything. *sad face* Suffice it to say I’ve learned and grown a lot in these few weeks, but still have many daunting questions and trying to unravel the mysteries of money.

I finally got settled into a new place and I’ll tell you all about it soon as I get my internet turned on at home.

I am still here hating my boring job as usual. (Yesterday was a particularly good day at work, I was recognized for my “hard work and attention detail” among other comments made by my co-workers, so I was smiles all day.) But I am happy now that my commute is only 5 minutes compared to the 45 minute nightmare it was before.

I have a lot of adventures coming up in the next few months and so more pivotal changes in the works. Part of that includes a trip to Austin and Houston to check out new homes here in the fall and a trip to Hawaii in December for a marathon.

And after a whirlwind of girl-related issues, I am happily on my own again.

Anyway, just a brief update for you. =) I won’t promise you anything because I have a bad habit of not keeping my promises. I’d rather just surprise you when I’m ready haha.

Always — your friend in finance.

Juan Millon

Yep, you’re just another one of many people that this dude is blatantly ripping off.
Is there anything we can do besides reporting it? And how long does it take before they shut him down?

    Juan,

Good to see you posting again! And you’re not the only one who fell off for a while. But so glad to see that everything is going so well for you!

And, by the way, if you get to move to Austin then I will be so jealous. That is the coolest, hippest place in the U.S. — liberal (but in a fun way) and artsy, diverse, and green. You would absolutely love it there! Good luck!

By the way — saw this post on Lifehacker (The Consumerist) and thought of your blog: http://consumerist.com/consumer/ideas/cut-spending-with-flickr-and-a-cameraphone-279563.php

    Take care, my friend :)

Hmm…didn’t see my comment post, but I’m trusting you are moderating them. I’ll check back on that.
