So I won yet another sweepstakes. Granted, it was the smallest of the prizes given out but the $50 gift card to Lowes will help me find a little something for my new crib (thats a house).
I always enter legitimate sweepstakes and contests because it increases my odds of reaching my goal to be a millionaire.
Its not like this is my first prize either! In the past I’ve won an all expense paid trip for 4 to Hollywood (est value $6k), I won a Finishline gift card ($100), and various things like an mp3 player and what not.
I’ve learned to only enter sweepstakes I want to win because of the taxes you are required to pay for winning.

lol yeah but it’s not cash. What about selling your gift card and reinvesting that cash into one of your retirement accounts.

Well I need certain things still for my place. So its convenient for me.
My retirement accounts are all up to date thank you! I’m on schedule to be a millionaire by the time I retire (aka Plan B).

Oh, but I am. I budgeted money to spend (so that less money that I need to spend). Not all my millionaire money is gonna come from my retirement savings. YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT CARAJO! I’m $50 richer and thats that!
