    i filed banckruptcy 12 years ago and it still shows up on my credit. how long does it stay there? that was before i got married. now my wife and i had prety good credit for the last 81/2 years. in jan 09 i lost my job for about 6 weeks but when i went back to work it was 1100 a month less then what i was making. we had a new truck and had to let it go back after a year of paying on it. i know that was bad but we had no choice. we have gone through and cut out everything that we use to do for fun. doint that was made us a lot closer because we spend a lot more family time together. anyway our credit score droped to an avg of 598. we have been making double pmts on the 6 bills we have left trying to pay them off asap. i know it takes time btu is there any way to raise the score faster. thanks for all ur help.
