Well, I’m two weeks from completing another major objective in my life as part of what I refer to as my “Five Phases.” I’ll be starting a new career-building, upward-moving job with a major Financial institution hooray! I’m excited and concerned at the same time — I mean, I’m leaving my somewhat comfortable job that I’ve been doing for nearly a year and a half now to take a chance on starting all over again. I learned a few lessons from this job which I hope to carry over with me. And with my new job theres more possibility of advancement! So let’s see how that goes. I want to paint myself as a responsible and friendly leader the minute I walk in the door. I’m going to try my best to do my best, and to get on the ladder moving upward! Sadly I had to say goodbye to one of my coworkers who had become a rather good friend of mine. At least I have him and many of my other colleagues on my LinkedIn profile; that way I’ll be able to keep in touch. Instant messenger works too. Well sooner than later I will bring millionster back up to its liveliness. Until then, have a Happy Thanksgiving.

The Undeniable Connection, Being Fat and Being in Debt — has been renamed because the content did not adequately match the title.
The Undeniable Connection, Being Fat and Being in Debt post will be a new article more focused on the title topic.

Thanks!

It seems that a lot of young folks today have life all figured out; make it through high school, grab that college degree, get a decent job, and get some nice rims on a hot truck seems to sum it up. It’s not surprising that the ‘youthful’ point of view is rather limited, afterall, if you havent been though life, how do you know whats going to happen? And really, why bother to plan for something you can’t predict. All I can say to that is, Ignorance is bliss.

Have you ever wondered how much it costs for you to live day to day? The thought hadn’t occureed to me until one day I found myself with literally nothing and I had to stretch pennies to make some of the ends meet. In turn I became painfully aware of how much it actually costs me to live from day to day (not including luxuries like cable and a cell phone.) If you’re lucky enough to not have had such an experience, I hope maybe I can bring the thought to the forefront of your mind by sharing a hellish yet enlightening moment of my life

When you’re a 20-something year old staring graduation right in the face, or maybe looking back at it, chances are you have had the opportunity to amass a small lump of moola in your trusty dusty savings account. The word around town is that your cash cache can do a lot more for you if you plan right, so if you happen to have $5000 somewhere somehow, (tax returns and a paycheck maybe), then why not make more practical use of it?
