Setting the tone for Phase I
2005 is a year I can only classify as one of the most difficult years in my life thus far. From having a nervous breakdown of sorts, almost being kicked out of school (I actually withdrew from school to avoid this but was not able to go back until a year later), disassociating myself with most of my acquaintances, isolating myself, passing the days in a dark and lonely depression, nightmares, fear of death from health complications, and many other things I can’t begin to describe. more …

Entry from my Enterprise & Estates Notebook, 2005

“Time is the most valuable asset I have.” — 1mil.

America was built on the idea that all men and women, regardless of their differences, should be free and equal, as they are in the eyes of God. Honorable men and women have fought and lost their lives for the cause of liberty, freedom of expression, freedom of press, and freedom from oppression – things that many Americans often take for granted.

The more I think about the freedoms I hold onto ever so dearly– the freedom to make my own choices for example — the more I realize that I am not truly free.

Like the rest of the working class in America, I work and live from paycheck to paycheck. While many have come to understand this monotony as life, I have come to understand it as a form of oppression.

“Any person that can first see that they are in a hole can then chose to stay in it, or chose to get out of it.” –1mil.

I see the hole, now I’m devising my way to get out of it.

Wish me Luck.

Hello and welcome to my first blog!

It’s primarily about my goal to accumulate One Million dollars, in five years.

I had originally kept my entires in my “Enterprise & Estates” Notebook — and I decided that I would convert them to a blog to share my experiences, and perhaps get some feedback from others who have similar interests.

The intent of this blog is to keep a journal of my many battles and triumphs in becoming rich. My definition of rich is simply being at liberty to do what one wants, at the time and place of his or her chosing. Rich — to be able to control the greatest single asset any person alive can have — time — that is what I am after. After much thought and debate, I’ve arrived at the conclusion that being financial secure is one way I can accomplish this ultimate goal.

My first million dollars is but only one milestone in this journey.
