Over the last 4 weeks or so, I’ve spent about $450 between two different girls (If you recall I was dating a hot Italian girl, but I’ve recently upgraded to the Persian express.) Call me crazy… For some reason this new girl I’m dating just really freaking like going to the movies, and last night was no exception. She just HAD to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3 — and I just had to take her. I didn’t really mind to be quite honest, afterall she did make me dinner, and you know, when I’m sprung money is no object.

Since I couldn’t manage to get my lease renewed at my current apartment yesterday, I went looking for a new place and I was lucky enough to come across an awesome house that is renting for less than my current rent but had more rooms. It then came to me to consider leasing the house and renting out the two other bedrooms at prices that would make my portion of the rent only about $200 total. In response I got a couple of really thoughtful comments, but one in particular from Dimples bent me sideways at the suggestion of my idea being mean.

Well I spent a good chunk of the morning trying to negotiate the lease with my apartment manager and it’s no surprise that they were unwilling to give me a reasonable price. Sorry charlie, that means I’m outta here! I challenged them on the basis of principle to see if they truly valued their tenants, and as it turns out money wins again.

Ahhhh…. The one perk other than health insurance and free coffee that have made my months of working for Super Mega Corporate Stock Company worthwhile! I just got handed 2 tickets to the Giants game tonite!! Woo hoo! I was gonna take that hot italian girl I keep mentioning but alas she works until 8pm. I’ll guess I’ll just have to take my roomate. or give the extra one to gidgets ^_^
